MINUTES
The regular bi-monthly meeting of the Vero Lake Estates Property Owners board meeting was held on Thursday, September 9, 2010 at 6:30pm at VLEVFD building, the President being in the chair and the Secretary being present.
Call to order: 6:37pm

NEW BUSINESS:
September 20, 2010 next general meeting topic and venue discussed and set
Meeting topic will include: bicycle safety and engraving, code enforcement contact and follow up information, cyber safety and keeping your child safe on the internet, Crimewatch
Meeting will be held at the VLEVFD Firehouse at 7:00pm 9/20/2010
510 ENTRANCE: some board members are going to weed and spruce up the entrance
A motion was made by Susan Thomasson to purchase some plants and or flowers, Carmen second the motion and a $100 budget was established.
512 ENTRANCE: Barbara to contact county to have Crimewatch and speedlimit signs pushed back a couple feet to unblock our new signage.
COMMUNITY CENTER: Fundraising ideas and 501C3 information was shared and Mission statement and plan of action
VOTER turnout: 15% of VLE registered voters were present at the polls
