VLEPO BOARD MEETING
November 11, 2009
MINUTES
The regular bi-monthly meeting of the Vero Lake Estates Property Owners board meeting was held on Wednesday, November 11, 2009 at 7:00pm at Beef O’Brady restaurant with the President being in the chair and the Secretary being present.
Call to order: 6:35pm
Present:
Sean Prescott, P., Barbara Negreira-Harrell, S, Sue Kranenburg, T, Joe Beaudoin, D., Carmen Negreira,D., Membership Chair, Janet Wood,D., Park Comm. Chair, Susan Thomasson, D.
NEW BUSINESS:
CODE ENFORCEMENT: Cody Holmes is still interested and he will be the chairperson and contact for code enforcement issues.
PARK COMMITTEE: Janet Wood has expressed the desire to step down and Sean Prescott and Susan Thomasson will be co-chairing the park committee. Susan will contact the boy scout to move forward with picnic tables and get them anchored down. Sean will follow up with the county on what they promised to do to get started.
510 ENTRANCE: Down to earth Irrigation will check out sprinkler pipe and fix line. Sue Kranenburg pulled weeds and cleaned up in front of the signs. Sue will also check into maybe getting some reflective paint to see signs better after dark.
512 ENTRANCE signs bids are in and it is going to the general meeting for vote and approval.
Fire/EMS needs assessments are being handled by Susan Thomasson and she is presenting at the EOC meeting soon.
INFORMATIONAL SIGNS- are in a temporary spot and will be in its final location once the signage on 512 get permited and approved by the county.
STREET LIGHTS- power and polls are being laid out to be placed in the at the request of home owners in the 103 street and 77th avenue area.
Next meeting topic and speaker is scheduled for November 16th - Jim McAlahny GC to speak on Chinese Drywall
