May 4, 2009
MINUTES
The regular bi-monthly meeting of the Vero Lake Estates Property Owners board meeting was held on Monday, May 3, 2009 at 7:00pm at Barbara Harrell’s home at 8816 106rd Court, the President being in the chair and the Secretary being present.
Call to order: 7:10pm

NEW BUSINESS:
May 18, 2009 meeting topic: Meet & Greet- an opportunity for local business to network and showcase their services. Several Board members were going to solicit businesses in the area to set up a table.
CODE ENFORCEMENT: we are in need for a volunteer to chair that committee and we will ask for volunteers at the next general meeting.
BEAUTIFICATION COMMITTEE: Last day for nominations will be Saturday – May 9th. All judges will be given the nominations and submit their votes. If the winner is not a VLEPO member, we will contact them to see if they are interested in joining.
PARK COMMITTEE: Burn completed and the county is in the process of clearing out downed trees. Janet to email Mr. Mora from Parks and Recreation and try to secure a date as to when we can move forward, and also get information on trail completion. If unsuccessful, we will email Wesley Davis, who made firmer commitments to us previously.
510 ENTRANCE: Sean will contact the irrigation company to check on the sprinklers in the area so that the Boy Scouts can plant flowers and or trees.
