The Special Meeting of the Vero Lake Estates Property Owner’s Board Members and Committee Members was held on Tuesday, January 27, 2009 at Jennifer & Charles Coley’s residence at 8445 104th Ave, the President being in the chair and the Secretary being present.
Call to order: 7:30 p.m., brief introduction period
Present:
Julieann Bradley, P., Jennifer Coley, V.P., Barbara Harrell, S., Sue Kranenburg, T., Janet Woods, D. & Park Comm. Chair, Joe Beaudoin, D., Carmen Negreira, D. & Membership Chair, Susan Thomasson, D., Charles Coley, D.
Guests: Michael Bradley, John & Chrissie Grimisom
Old Business:
Membership Renewal Dates & Bulk Permit
· Ammend ByLaws, change annual due date to September 1st at the next general meeting, a motion was made and seconded
New Business:
Appointments –
*Susan Thomasson has resigned from the Treasurer position, appointment of Sue Kranenburg. A motion was made and seconded.
*Membership Chairperson appointment of Carmen Negreira, a motion was made and seconded.
*Janet Wood, Park Chairperson
Events- March 7th Yard Sale, April 4th Easter Egg Hunt, & VLE Women’s Group
Budgets-
All Committee & Board Members to submit budgets before next Board Meeting, a motion was made and seconded.
Purchase of Microsoft Excel Speadsheet for VLEPO use at an estimated cost of $229.00, a motion was made and seconded.
Purchase of New Cash Box for the use of the VLEPO Treasurer, a motion was made and seconded.
Website-
Password access for both the VLEPO website administrator & the President, a motion was made and seconded.
Committee for the 512 Entrance Sign- Charles Coley & John Grimison
Committee for the VLE Fire Station- trip to the VLE Volunteer Fire Station
