VLEPO BOARD MEETING
March 3, 2009
MINUTES
The regular bi-monthly meeting of the Vero Lake Estates Property Owners board meeting was held on Monday, March 2, 2009 at 7:00pm at Sue Kranenburg’s home at 8446 93rd Avenue, the President being in the chair and the Secretary being present.
Call to order: 7:08 pm
Present:
Julieann Bradley, P., Jennifer Coley, VP, Barbara Negreira-Harrell, S., Sue Kranenburg, T., Joe Beaudoin, D., Carmen Negreira, Membership
OLD BUSINESS:
Membership dues/Bylaws-
Vote not to amend bylaws to change membership due date and keep with current structure, a motion was made and seconded.
NEW BUSINESS:
Scout Project-
No update
Website-
All requests for events to be posted on our web site must be approved by the board and must be open to all VLE residents; a motion was made and seconded.
Women’s Group-
Women’s group will be a separate entity from VLEPO
Beautification Committee-
A request will be made at the general meeting to seek volunteers to be judges on “The Yard of The Month” contest.
Appointments:
Susan Thomasson, Fire Station Chairperson
50/50
Jennifer will be coordinating the 50/50 raffle at the general meetings, $1 a ticket or $3 for 5 tickets, a motion was made and seconded.
Board Members Transition-
In order to help future board members, Julieann suggested that all board members keep all pertinent information concerning their positions organized and well documented to help during transitions at the end of our term.
