MINUTES
The regular bi-monthly board meeting of the Vero Lake Estates Property Owners board meeting was held on Tuesday August 25, 2009 at 7:00pm at Carmen Negreira’s home,7746 100th Avenue the President being in the chair and the Secretary being present.
Call to order: 6:55pm

Sean Prescott, P., Barbara Negreira-Harrell, S, Sue Kranenburg, T, Joe Beaudoin, D., Carmen Negreira,D., Membership Chair, Janet Wood,D., Park Comm. Chair, Susan Thomasson, D.
NEW BUSINESS:
Next General Meeting: Monday September 21, 2009/ Back to school/Safety topic- Reptiles
OPEN BOARD POSITIONS: We will address at the meeting to get volunteers
FALL FESTIVAL IDEAS- date October 24, 2009 at 10:00am- details to be decided
CODE ENFORCEMENT: burned home on 87th Street keeps getting extensions
PARK COMMITTEE: Janet has been in contact with many people at Parks and Recreation. Turtle burrows have been identified , Beth Powell not responding as of yet.
510 ENTRANCE: Joe to clean up sign and Sean will contact irrigation contractor to get system up and running.
STREET LIGHTS: residents have asked for lights on 77th. Board agreed it is very dark and the county should put those in.
SOLICITATION APPLICATION: Sue Thomasson will complete and mail out application.
512 ENTRANCE: We are going to get bids to begin proper signage, now that the road widening has been complete
MEMBERSHIP: postcard mailing for upcoming meeting and membership drive to all residents in VLE.
