Draft of Board Meeting Minutes for April 27, 2010
The regular board meeting of the Vero Lake Estates Property Owners was held on Tuesday- April 27, 2010 @ the Volunteer Fire Department.
6:50pm Call to order
Attendance: Joe Beaudoin, Sue Kranenburg, Susan Thomasson, Sean Prescott, Janet Wood, Barbara Harrell, Carmen Negreira , Brad Crowther
Fire Station update: Although we were slated for a #3 spot, Indian River County has suddenly stopped moving forward and there is no longer a committee handling that at the county offices. Many board members were very disappointed at the support by the VLE residents.
Code Enforcement: Keep calling if you come across violations, the county is working on them slowly but surely.
Officers: Sean will no longer be able to serve as President and we are still in need of a Vice President. Susan Thomasson is now going to serve as President until the January elections and Janet Wood is going to serve as Vice President. Barbara Harrell is continuing on as Secretary and Sue Kranenburg will remain
serving as Treasurer. We have added 2 addition board members, Mike Martoe and Brad Crowther.
VLE Volunteer Fire Department- Suggestions have been made to get the building to serve as a community center.
STREET LIGHTS- Many street lights are being installed within VLE, however; several were unable to be placed due to overgrown trees on the lots in question. Individual lot owners and or homeowners requesting lights on those specific areas will have to have the trees trimmed at their expense prior to light installation.
Signage: revised position of signage need approval by county and then construction can commence.
Annual Registry- will be completed and mailed by the 5/1/2010 Deadline.
Next General Meeting is Monday- May 17, 2010
